Below is an extract from a letter sent to Buckingham Palace from the Community Council's Chair, Penelope Fraser.

Fife Council is also making a condolence book available for the public to sign from 9th September 2022 at the Victory Memorial Hall in St Andrews. It will be open 11:00am - 2:00pm Monday to Friday.


We were saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

 

Her example of service and duty will be long remembered by people around the world.

 

Her long association with St Andrews will continue to be treasured in our memories.

 

We send you and your family our condolences at this distressing time.
